I'm a Nashville-based photographer with a lifelong love for capturing the world through a lens. That passion was sparked when I was just ten years old, thanks to a night class my mother and I took together at a local tech school. She was a single mom looking for something we could share—and in the process, she gave me a creative outlet that would shape the rest of my life.

Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to learn from and work alongside some of the most respected and iconic names in photography, experiences that have helped refine my artistic voice. I see photography as more than documentation—it’s a form of expression, a way to interpret and share the beauty, complexity, and emotion of the world around us.

I approach my work much like a painter—attuned to light, mood, and composition. Whether I’m exploring quiet woodlands, vast desert landscapes, or the energy of a city street, my goal is to create images that stir something in the viewer. I want my photographs to invite you in, to slow you down, and maybe even help you see something familiar in a new way.

I live in Middle Tennessee with my wife—my partner in life, travel, and inspiration. We’re proud parents to two grown children and happy grandparents to two amazing boys—soon to be three. Together, we love to travel and discover new places and finding inspiration in the everyday moments that make life beautiful.

Thank you for visiting my site. I hope the images here resonate with you and reflect even a fraction of the wonder I feel behind the camera.

Being featured in a national ad campaign in magazines such as American Photo, Outdoor Photograher, and others by Schneider Optics was an honor. The image—taken just outside New Orleans—highlights how I use B+W filters to bring out depth and richness in my work. It was a memorable moment to be part of their celebration of professional photography.
