Cades Cove, Great Smoky Mountains N.P., 2015 

Cade's Cove is one of my favorite places to be, all alone, before the Sun comes up. It's almost surreal, so peaceful and quiet, surrounded by the Great Smoky Mountains and watching them come into view as the Sun rises and the fog lifts. This morning, it was just me and the lone driver coming up the lane where I was standing.
