Ron Rice, b. 1965, is a Nashville-based photographer who has been capturing the world through his lens since he was just a boy. It all started when his mother, looking for an activity they could do together, signed them up for a photography night class at a local tech school when he was just ten—a decision that sparked his lifelong passion for the art. Over the years, Ron has had the opportunity to learn from and collaborate with some of the most iconic photographers of our time, shaping his outstanding artistic vision.
With a painter's sensitivity to light and composition, Ron approaches photography as an art form beyond typical photographs. He skillfully uses light and lens, much like a painter uses a brush and palette, crafting images with rich textures and atmospheric elements. Whether exploring tranquil woodlands, vast deserts, or vibrant cityscapes, Ron aims to create photographs that share his artistic vision with viewers, evoking emotions and renewing a sense of wonder about our world.
Ron and his wife remain in middle Tennessee, where they're very proud of their two grown children and love their roles as grandparents to two wonderful boys. Their mutual love for travel and the arts has led them to many captivating destinations, inspiring Ron's work and enriching their lives.
